Stamford's Lord & Taylor and Whole Foods Market
Parking - Light, Bright, Secure
To minimize visual impact, the stepped parking structure design is integrated into the site's topography with one level below grade and only three and a half levels above. Exterior surfaces incorporate attractive stonework and vertical trellises that accommodate the growth of natural greenery. On the south end, between the CVS and the development site, a multi-tiered retaining wall will accommodate landscaping and provide visual screening (as depicted below).

Traffic under Control
The developer has taken many steps to improve both vehicular and pedestrian traffic in and around the site. Current entrances on both High Ridge and Long Ridge Roads will be enhanced by adjusting the timing of existing traffic signals. Additionally, new internal circulation, intersection control points and wider perimeter sidewalks will enhance access and safety.

Locally Owned, Family Operated
NRDC is currently developing several noteworthy projects, in Stamford. Among these is the historic, Old Town Hall which is being transformed into offices and art exhibition space. The company also has ownership in the Burlington Coat Factory building, as well as the Mrs. Greens/EMS building on High Ridge Road.

On another project, the developer is donating 25 acres, the largest gift ever, to Stamford's Land Conservation Trust (SLCT). Additionally, they have recently contributed over $800,000 to build affordable housing in Stamford's South End.

Lastly, it is important to emphasize that NRDC isn't just developing this project. The company owns Lord & Taylor, which provides a powerful incentive to ensure the project's long-term success.

From any vantage point the project's building and garage design complement one another architecturally and integrate with the site's extensive green space and topography.
